Felis Romania is the central registry for pedigrees and will issue permission to the member clubs to organize their shows. Registrations are submitted from the member clubs, who will check the paperwork prior to submitting it to Felis Romania. Felis Romania member clubs organize shows under the FIFe open doors policy, which means you do not have to be a FIFe member in order to exhibit at a show, but you do have to belong to a reputable registering organization. Each member club will represent its individual members, and decisions within the federation will only be taken after a democratic ballot of the federated clubs. The Executive Committee manages Felis Romania business on a day-to-day basis and is elected by the clubs and will be accountable to those clubs (and through them to the individual members). Our objectives: - To continually work to improve the status of the cat in Romania. - To actively work against any mismanagement related to the keeping of cats. - To establish good relationships with veterinary institutions, animal welfare agencies and government authorities. - To keep a common registration database for the associated clubs. - To oversee the management and organization of cat shows in Romania in accordance with FIFe show rules. - To work towards a progressive, healthy cat breeding program in line with the standard of each breed. - To represent Romania internationally. - To unite all member clubs for the betterment of the Romanian cat fancy.
